Maiden Voyage of a Sinking Ship
Sunday, October 23rd, 2005Thus far I’ve succeeded in getting this page to function on a very basic level, and I’ve tossed in a few links to the side. The gallery will become somewhat more realized after I’ve finished the skeleton of the entire site. Simple images are also to come, nothing as cumbersome as the previous iteration assuming something doesn’t sidetrack me into forgetting that this site exists.
Website issues aside, weirdness abounds. Recent happenings with me include a self-diagnosed dislocated finger, a pet rat with half a tail (thanks to a girl aptly named “Cat”), a temp job that has lasted the past 6 months, a car that seems to be in dire need of mechanic love, a new apartment in lovely OP, KS, Saturday morning art classes with an emphasis on generation gap, a book illustration deal that fell through, a much neglected web comic, and people getting married, graduating and moving into what I think of as the third stage of life, while I’m piddling around waiting to finish the second.
Complaints aside, life is still pretty fun. But for now my feet are cold, and I haven’t showered in two days so I feel the need to remedy these things as I can do so easily. Weekends are quite good at sabotaging my hygiene.
